In 2017, I was lucky enough to travel to the famed horse park in Lexington, Kentucky for what would turn out to be the final official Rolex Kentucky 3-Day Event (now formally known as the Land Rover Kentucky 3-Day Event. “Are you going to Land Rover this year?” just doesn’t quite have the same ring that “Heading to Rolex” does.) With my Press Pass clutched firmly in my hand and the world’s ugliest pinny proudly adorned on my chest, I was able to watch (and shoot) this incredible event from the birds-eye-view provided to official photographers.
